How can I fix my blacklight?

I have only used it a few times and by use I mean turn it on for 10 minutes. I never slammed it down or anything. I picked it up last night and heard a rattling noise coming from inside it. I took it to my mom and she said the filimant was broken. Is there a way to fix it? I tried turning it on but it won't (.cuz its broken) ... :( I'm really sad because it was like $30. What should I do? We don't have money to replace it.
